[There's a dazed man, with long silver hair, golden eyes, and a very weird looking Keyblade in hand, waking up in Castle Oblivion or Land of Departure, if Castle Oblivion's not avaiable.]

[He doesn't seem to know what he's doing here. Not counting hair colour, he seems to be Saix, but it's not like he's going to remember that either, right now.]

[if anybody's nearby, or even if not, he might mumble] ...why do I suddenly think about fairytales about phoenixes and winter queens? I think mom told such a fairytale, once... Long ago...

Oh bother. Seems as if you've lost your way.

You've been meandering as 'whatever-you-are's tend to do quite often, if only because 'whatever-you-ares' are very good at meandering.

But perhaps it might have been better to do what 'whatever-you-are's do best some other time, since you are actually searching for a very specific somebody! They most certainly will help you today, you think. Help you find some hunny, or track down those dastardly heffalumps and woozles. Perhaps to help tend your garden, or build your house which will just fall over anyway. (It always does). And maybe in the future, you'll need them to fetch you from that tree when you've been blown into by a blustery wind on a blustery day!

Either way, you'll hear the pitter patter of footsteps approach from behind, perhaps a stranger, or perhaps a very good friend.

And when you turn, this maybe-friend-or-perhaps-stranger greets you!

Sora offers a hand. "There you are!" And a warm smile. "You ready?"

[ooc: Oh dear- you've been turned into a stuffed animal/person/creature in the Hundred Acre wood. But have no fear, whatever flight of fancy strikes you, Sora's here to help and protect! Action tags or prose, have Sora take you on a misadventure, or take Sora on one of yours! Have fun and be as creative as you want - after all, it's what 'whatever-you-are's are best at.

Note: Using a post from an old RP of mine, because the interactions were delightful.]

Welcome to the Dressing Room, or whatever it is of the interconnected worlds that you've suddenly found yourself in. Wherever you were or whatever you were doing, you are no longer there and no longer doing that. Oh, and you been gifted with a lovely bit of jewelry; a nice shiny handcuff with about two feet of chain on it. Oh and a great big lump of person dangling off it.

We didn't mention the other person? Goodness, there's a person on the other end!

But they're not that important.

What you should be much more concerned with is that you seem to be missing something in exchange for your new companion. How quickly you notice may depend on how much you rely on it.

For example, you might notice being blind a little sooner than you'd notice missing your sense of smell.

The long and the short of it, you are now hand cuffed to someone you may or may not know, on a random world you may or may not be familiar with, and are now missing one of your five senses.

(No cheating and having them lose their sixth.)

[Good [insert time of day here], Traverse Town!

I heard you all like collecting cute colorful creatures and having them fight for you. Well... there's surely some of those lurking around here too, but we're not talking about them.

Visitors to Traverse Town today may find themselves face to face with a variety of completely different cute, colorful collectible creatures. (spoiler: we're talking about Pokémon)

There's a Larxene ([personal profile] twelfthspark) in the Third District, new in town, grumpy and bewildered, with a swarm of fuzzy little spiders (and one less little) following her like imprinted ducklings.

Meanwhile in Second District, a Demyx ([personal profile] thatoneboss) is sitting on the edge of the fountain, playing his sitar. He nearly falls into the basin when a colorful bird alights nearby and starts repeating snatches of his song back at him, note-perfect.]

((ooc: Open post, because I'm a little nostalgic for Route. Mention which character you want in a tag, or just start your own thread, whatever.))

[One of the worlds that can be visited? It's a world called the Pride Lands. And everywhere the African sun touches belongs to the king, named Simba.

Of course, when humans visit, the place ends up changing its guests to better suit the dreadful environment. Some of you may be familiar with such a thing, but it's likely a learning experience for just about anyone else. And of course, various lionesses on patrol have mentioned this to the king.

So of course, Simba is there! He's ready to investigate and see who's come to the Pride Lands, and he's ready to either ask them to leave or invite them to stay for a while... it all depends on presentation. Then again, the king himself is sort of dancing and humming to himself, so it can't be that difficult to win him over...]

[There seems to be a fair bit of activity in the Grid today! First we have this dork. Having seen those awesome lightcycles, 'Sora' decided the best plan of action was to hop right on top of one and give it a ride!

Problem is, he hasn't used his Glider in ages, and driving a Gummi Ship is different than riding a computerized motorcycle. While he gets it going fairly fast, the speed ends up overwhelming, and in no time he ends up crashing into a wall. Care to lend a hand?

Now, on the opposite end of the spectrum, a certain Riku ([personal profile] keybearer) seems to be cruising along just fine, even performing a few jumps just for fun. Alas, the track is kinda barren right now, meaning there's next to no competition. After a while, he'll hop down from his ride and check to see if anyone else has popped up. He's half-tempted to explore, but it'd be better with company.

And then there's a certain apprentice ([personal profile] intellect) doing only the appropriate thing, really. He's... analyzing every nook and cranny of the computer program. The Solar Sailors in particular catch his eye, and he's currently taking notes and examining one while muttering to himself.]

[ooc: Open post because I got bored. Feel free to mention which char you want! The Ienzo's based on pre-BBS headcanon and is AU. Others have info on their profiles. :|b]

There was a table set out under a tree in front of the house, and the March Hare and the Hatter were having tea at it: a Dormouse was sitting between them, fast asleep, and the other two were using it as a cushion, resting their elbows on it, and the talking over its head. `Very uncomfortable for the Dormouse,' thought Alice; `only, as it's asleep, I suppose it doesn't mind.'

The table was a large one, but the three were all crowded together at one corner of it: `No room! No room!' they cried out when they saw Alice coming. `There's PLENTY of room!' said Alice indignantly, and she sat down in a large arm-chair at one end of the table.

Welcome to Wonderland, not just anywhere in Wonderland though. Those familiar with Wonderland may recognize the abandoned table of the mad tea party, but those who aren't may still be enticed by the varying aromas of all the wonderful (and delicious) tea populating it in place of abandoned cups and tea sets from the usual occupants.

However, like anything else in Wonderland you should imbibe with caution. While the effects are a little more temporary than some things one might consume in Wonderland...

Well, not much can be done about the memories.

Effects under the cut )

Welcome to Destiny Islands. Population: not much. Not until now, anyway.

Say goodbye to whatever you were doing before and wherever you were, none of it matters now. You're on a small chain of islands surrounded by the ocean. The flora is beautiful, tropical, and undoubtedly familiar. People have different names for these islands. A safe place, a new start, a prison. But mostly... People call it home.

Things have changed. The houses are mostly empty. That door, the one in the Secret Place? It's open, and it leads to a large circular room with many other doors, just waiting to be explored.

For now, though, you wake up on an island in celebration, with banners, treats, and party favors. Unfortunately, it's not all fun and games. You're here for a reason, and this place wants you to get to know each other! It's going to give you plenty of opportunities to do that, too, if the idea of finding yourself suddenly on an island with other people isn't interesting enough.

The power of this place is still fresh and temperamental, and it can manifest in any number of random and surprising ways when influenced by the magic of other worlds.

Don't worry, any mishaps should be temporary.
• Best keep an eye on that shadow of yours. Seems it doesn't want to stay with you in favor of independence and mischief. Only Peter Pan could tell you how to fix that.

• Faith, trust, and pixie dust. Whether it's about seeing home or something completely different, one happy thought can send you flying. Literally. Instructions not included.

• Don't worry about others getting mixed up if you happen to have a double (or three). You're still unique, right? Maybe you don't need to be completely human to show that. You could be a temporary mermaid, or a puppet, or a furry woodland creature. Or just have the features of one.

• If you're too antisocial, or even if you're not, you might just find yourself surrounded by Dream Eaters. How on earth did they get here?
